We Now Have A First Grader
This picture doesn't show any of his excitement. He was literally bouncing off the walls like it was Christmas Day and so happy.
Sheesh! A first grader. It truly was a wonderful year. I have to say Kindergarten is lovely. We had a fanatastic teacher and she kept us all in line and organized. Jac can read and loves to write. He is constantly teaching himself things. He made new friends and learned things like, kickball, rope climbing, how to punch in his pin number to pay for his lunch at school, how to ride the bus and so many other things. I am proud of him for his accomplishments and how well he adjusted to a new class, new teacher, new school and new friends. First grade, here we come!
Last bus ride as a Kindergartner!
At the park to celebrate after school.

Jac and Stella to the Doctor
Jac and Stella were able to share a six month and six year checkup. You have definitely made it once you hit six because you don't have shots until those tetanus boosters show up for middle school, what a great day! Poor Stella still got poked four times though. She is definitely the best shot taker of all three. She gets really mad and then she is happy in about 5 seconds, amazing.
Jac is on his normal path of 90% in height. I don't see that changing any time soon. Although because he is one of the youngest kids in the class he seems average if not small often. He did great on all of his exam items.
In general Jac is doing great! He is sleeping a little better, although not longer. He is waking up consistently between 6:15 and 6:30. He is just a happy kid as long as you feed him and get him to bed on time. I think I am going to like this age!
Stella had a good checkup also. She is 60% in weight and 80% in height, still my smallest. We changed out her carseat because she has outgrown the infant carrier. She has started sitting in high chairs at restaurants and riding up in the cart at the grocery store. I feel like we have come a long way! She has been fussy the last couple of days because of the shots. But really she has become quite pleasant, maybe a little less teething going on. She rolls and sits and giggles and squeals. Really a delight. She doesn't eat a lot, but loves her bottles. I am sure that will change as she develops a taste for certain foods and as I transition her to table food instead of that awful strained food!

She is Six Months!
Baby Girl is six months old today. I can't believe it. This was a whirlwind to say the least. I am hoping that we can have a long relaxing summer and slow this down a bit. I am going to blink and she is going to be a year.
Right now her favorite food is pears. She is sitting so well and really rolling up on her belly every chance she gets. I gave her some puffs today, which she really isn't supposed to have yet and she is working on pinching. It was a little hard for her. She likes to drink from a sippy cup, but looks sort of like a rabbit drinking from a straw she really gets into it and makes a lot of noise.
