Privacy Please

Jac hasn't always been the most independent boy in the world. He has however, started doing more little boy things for himself, like getting dressed. He still likes a little mama help now and again. So after I helped him use the toilet he was running around naked. I asked him to go ahead and get dressed so we could go outside. He shouted - "I need privacy!" He grabbed his clothes and ran to his room to dress. This is the proud and very private boy that came back down.

Let the Training Begin

We have been taking it slow with Mia, but we are trying to step up our game lately. Yet another unfairness in the life of a first child versus a second child. No stressed out little girls or mommies to be found this time around.

Memphis Trip

We had a great time a couple of weeks ago in Memphis. The kids have since then asked to go back, which I think says it all. Today, when Mia woke up the first thing she said was, "Mommy, can we go back to Memphis?" Here are a couple of pictures from our trip.

Jac got a Lightning McQueen bicycle with training wheels for his birthday. He is learning to start on hills and use the brakes. We went around the block the other day for the first time.

Two Plus One

So if two is easier than one, three is easier than two! My niece Grace came for a few days this week to stay with us. Normally when Mia goes down for a nap I have an hour or so of entertaining Jac before he gets sleepy. Well, not this week. Let the fun continue, because the two cousins kept each other completely entertained while I "worked" on the computer!
